There are four phases in the Ideal Protein Weight Loss Protocol. During all four Phases you will receive one-on-one coaching, teaching you how your body gains weight and what you should be eating in order to maintain a balanced weight.
Dr. Gwendolyn Patterson Cobbs – Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist
Dr. Gwendolyn Patterson Cobbs is a board certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist who trained at Georgetown University Medical Center. She is also a graduate of Goucher College in Towson, MD and The Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC. Dr. Cobbs not only enjoys delivering babies and helping women take care of their gynecologic needs but she has a genuine heart for helping women lose weight.
She knows first hand how excess weight can decrease a woman’s self-confidence and there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a woman’s smile who has just achieved her lifelong weight-loss goal!
Dana Marshall – Medical Assistant
Ms. Marshall graduated from Applied Career Training in 2002, She has worked as a Medical Assistant for fourteen years. She started her weight-loss journey using Ideal Protein program November of 2015, which she gained a tremendous perspective on what it takes to maintain a healthy lifestyle.She is inspired to help others with their weight-loss and path to healthy living.
Cindy Walls – Psychologist

Cindy Walls is a Licensed Professional Counselor, specializing in a wide variety of women’s issues, from anxiety and depression to obsessive-compulsive behavior and grief and loss. Cindy earned her master’s degree from Marymount University in Arlington, VA, and is a long-time resident of that city. Cindy is committed to providing her clients with practical and long-lasting solutions to their challenges, and embraces a philosophy of listening to and working collaboratively with her individual clients to fully understand their unique circumstances. Combining extensive professional experience with a warm and engaging congeniality, Cindy’s approach to counseling helps clients successfully develop skills to solve various personal challenges and the abilities to lead fulfilled and productive lives.
As the mother of four children, a former special education and elementary education teacher, and current high school coach, Cindy has a keen appreciation for the pressures facing women today. She recognizes how those stresses can affect certain behaviors and situations, such as one’s diet and eating practices, and is committed to helping individuals develop long-term, constructive behavior and habits.
In addition to her current professional obligations, Cindy is also an avid runner and triathlete.

Janis Manalang, MS
Janis Manalang is the founder/CEO/Director of the Key Center located in Sterling and Alexandria, Virginia. She has a passion for helping others and their families put forth the effort in reaching their utmost potential. She earned her Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling at NovaSoutheastern University located in South Florida. Janis is licensed in the State of Florida, Virginia and currently working on District of Columbia and Maryland. She is a member of American Counseling Association (ACA) and other subdivisions, ACES and ACMD. She is currently working on professional development with ACA in which she has served as the Graduate Student liason for selecting the Programs /Educational Sessions for this year’s Annual ACA Conference for Hawaii and presented with David Kaplan in numerous counseling organizations such as AASCB, ACES and VCA. She has presented in Virginia Counseling Association and also during the Virginia Graduate Counseling Association. She appeared in Oprah’s OWN, the show, Unfaithful, Season 2. She is linked with Reston and Leesburg Business Chambers. Janis is currently working on her Doctorate in Education: Focusing on Counseling and Supervision. She attends and is a member of Grace Covenant Church located in Chantilly, VA. During her spare time and away from professional duties and school, Janis enjoys working out, shopping, traveling and spending time with loved ones.
